Both fighters possess elite punch power and can win the fight at any moment with one clean shot. Alvarez is eight years younger than his opponent so one might assume that he has better stamina. However, both fighters are in phenomenal shape and I expect this fight to be extremely even throughout.
As for my prediction, I am going to side with Golovkin by decision. I think that Golovkin will start to wear Alvarez down in the middle rounds similarly to every fighter that GGG has fought in the past. I think that Alvarez will hit Golovkin with multiple combinations throughout the entire fight but I think that Golovkin is simply on a different level and will use his vast array of strikes to make Alvarez extremely uncomfortable.
